    Professor Liu has been devoted to the study and treatment of Syringomyelia, Chiari malformation and CVJ spine and spinal cord diseases since 2001. He worked on customized 3D printing fusion hardware devices and performed the first 3D-printing tailored titanium plate lock fixation via transoral approach.

    In 2016, Professor Liu and his team launched the Chiari and Syringomyelia Medical Research Institute which manages a clinical database comprising over 15,000 cases in hopes of providing a platform for better international communication and cooperation in this field. The specialist team led by Director Liu has gradually improved the medical thinking of clinical diagnosis and treatment system and the surgical methods of syringomyelia. They created a precedent for domestic systemic research and treatment of syringomyelia and minimally invasive surgery.

    Professor Min specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases. He is able to complete all Grade Ⅲ and Grade Ⅳ of neurosurgery operations, including using new techniques like microvascular decompression to treat trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm, which achieved good results.

    Professor Stoodley is Head of Neurosurgery at Macquarie University Hospitals and School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Professor Stoodle has a clinical subspecialty qualification in neurovascular surgery. In addition to dealing with aneurysms and vascular malformations, he has been a leader in brain bypass surgery in Australia, particularly in the treatment of moyamoya and other occlusive diseases. In addition to his neurovascular expertise, Professor Stoodley is internationally recognized for his clinical treatment of Chiari malformation, syringomyelia and spinal cord tumors.

    In addition to clinical research, Professor Stoodley leads the Macquarie University Neurosurgery Research Team. This is one of the largest neurosurgery research groups in Australasia, with world-leading research results in syringomyelia and CSF physiology and the development of new treatments for arteriovenous malformations. The work has attracted more than AU$3 million in research funding, including support from NHMRC, Australia's leading medical research funding agency, and The Column of Hope, a US-based organisation dedicated to advancing polio research and treatment.
